For nearly 80 years, the Refuge de la Birgmatte has been maintained, improved and brought to life thanks to the dedication of generations of volunteers from the Naturefriends (Union Touristique Les Amis de la Nature). Each volunteer has helped make this refuge the warm, welcoming and nature-friendly place it is today. We sincerely thank everyone who has devoted their time, energy and skills over the decades to building, maintaining and caring for this unique refuge.The Refuge de la Birgmatte is above all a place for sharing, friendship and meeting people.
